It is said we are our toughest critics. This blog was created, in part, due to that statement. It is difficult in the age of social media to draw attention to personal works of art. Art has a way of capturing a bit of the artist's soul within the lines and after all, who am I?
Yet, if we do not strive to improve and grow then who will we ever be? The drawing below is an attempt to copy Durer's Girl. Durer had a way of using soft, almost nonexistent, shades mixed with hard deliberate lines. It still amazes me. The trail to tap into my inner Durer continues. He is in there somewhere, I just know it.
