Mixed Media Bridge of Sighs in Venice, Italy

Picasso went through a Blue Period, this is obviously a Bridge Period. Having now created two Bridge of Sighs, it is truly the beginnings of something beautiful. The mixed media used was different, as each piece is different. Coffee staining, corrugated paper, and postage stamps are some of the items incorporated within the painting. Messages are hidden within its layers for the future to discover. I love building these images.

Also, the frames came from a Thrift Shop. They have been repaired and repainted especially for the art they will hold.
