After the Rain Deconstructed Journal Swap

There is nothing like spending a rainy afternoon crafting.

The newest obsession is Liquitex Pouring Medium.   It can be mixed with acrylic paints, but if you apply it on top of finished surfaces you get a wet/glossy finish.  Pair this with the rain outside and an idea was born.  Could I give the page the look of rain coming down a window?

Liquitex Pouring Medium applied with a paint brush

I then decided to trim the page with it and added "raindrops to the flowers.

It love the effect!

The front and back covers were then completed.

Now, to tie it with a string and send it on its way.

Happy Crafting, y'all!
