Flash Card Portraits

I found some Flash Cards in a local Thrift Shop.  They are a wonderful way to get a little painting in every day.  The size reminds me of old cabinet cards.

The surface is glossy so a little Gesso will need to be apply in order for your paints to stick.  She was painted with a Dollar Store set of acrylic paints, just wanted to see how they did.  The paints did seem more translucent then the higher dollar brands.  Other then a few extra coats, the paints performed well.  Happy Crafting!!
