Early Work with Oil Paints

This is a second attempt at a Botticelli-ish "Birth of Venus" face with oils.  It was a push to try a new medium but one I have ended up finding a liking too.  The artist can walk away, sleep on it, and still have time to blend and redo.  In the middle of the Texas desert, slow drying time is almost a myth.  Here is to finding the unicorn of paints.
