At times, we can be unsure what to do with the not-so-amazing-art we create. My solution is to collage over the art with scraps of ephemera and try again. Once the collage has had time to dry, you can give a more uniformed look by whitewashing it with watered down Gesso. You now have a new foundation to create on. I find collage gives the pieces a unique texture to play with.
Be unafraid to redo, reuse, and try again.
